Montana Solitaire

Montana Solitaire, sometimes known as “Gaps” or “Spaces,” is a solitaire card game with a unique structure compared to traditional solitaire. It is played by laying out all 52 cards in four rows, arranged so that players aim to create ordered sequences from left to right in each row. The cards are dealt face-up, and players then move cards to align suits in numerical order, working around blank spaces created by removed cards. The game doesn’t use traditional “foundations” as in other solitaire games; instead, the challenge lies in arranging the entire grid into sequences. Montana Solitaire requires careful planning and is known for being highly challenging, as players need to strategically manage gaps and card placement to achieve the correct order.
